This is a mandate?

A lot of Republicans have been tossing around the "M" word as in they have a mandate from the American people to fundamentally change the way government works (or doesn't work depending on your point of view.) they should be cautious about that kind of thinking. According to a recent Pew poll only 48 percent of those polled even knew that the Republicans had won control of the House. Who knows what the other 52 percent think but I'm pretty sure that they just want a government that works. By working I think they basically mean that they don't get screwed by their representatves. That their representatives represent their interests and not just the interests of big business, Wall Street, and the rich. My advice to Republicans....you've been in this situation before and screwed it up. Watch out. Voters (and non-voters) are so fickle and vindictive.
