Looking to the Future, Remembering the Past

In 2004 at the Democratic National Convention, Barack Obama was given the prime time spot to speak. He was in the middle of his senate campaign in Illinois, and for the most part was unknown outside the state. His speech at the convention catapulted him to National prominence. If you have never heard this speech it is worth the sixteen minutes to watch. I have this speech on my Ipod, and have listened to it enough to almost have it memorized. Every time I listen to it I am moved, and given hope for the future. I will continue to post some of Obama's greatest speeches, and I encourage you all to listen to them, and learn from them.
