Imagine the Possibilities....

Think of what we could do with billions of extra dollars each week. We could invest in public education, invest in healthcare, fully fix the Gulf Coast, and do numerous things that would better the welfare of this great country. This week a report by the Congressional Budget Office shows that the United States has now spent approximately one hundred billion dollars paying private contractors in Iraq. This is taxpayer money being spent on private individuals making large sums of money off of this war. One of the most frustrating things about being in Iraq was going outside the wire with KBR, who was doing the same job as you, making three times as much as you. A lot of the soldiers we served with referred to Iraq as the “modern gold rush.” If you’re single, no life, need to make a dollar, head to Iraq, it’s where the money is. To bad the money isn’t still here in the United States, think of what we could of done….
