McCain's Support of the Troops

McCain's hypocrisy is endless and his compassion is transparent. Supporting McCain and believing in his policies is a vote of apathy and cynicism and is void of emotion and philanthropy. It is appalling to me that as a nation of so much diversity and based upon tolerance that we continue to allow politicians, community leaders, television personalities and uninformed citizens to promote widespread polarization of our nation. It's a scene from the comedy Stripes with Bill Murray that I love because it sums up what America is about. "We're Americans. With a capital A, huh?
You know what that means? Do you? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts. But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt." It's true. Hitler, when devising his plan for world domination, did not take into consideration America. Why? He considered us an inferior race. A nation of mongrels. Barack Obama is everything I see and love about America. I forget the Greek philosopher that said the most important thing we can do in our lives is help our fellow citizens but that's what we should be doing. I'm Catholic and I know that the Catholic Church hasn't always been the epitome of right but I try to take the good parts and apply them to my life. St. Francis said, "Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy."
I think we can all do more to make this world a better place.

Wow! I don't care what party you are for, but you should really be careful about getting your hopes up so much on a politician. You realize our best citizens choose not to run for office because of the corruption? Obama is the same as all of them. Democrats loved Bill Clinton and look at what a lying and manipulative persone he was. They tried to impeach him! Obamam's clergy friends, his flip-flopping, and him playing the race card are warning signs. This guy is in love with himself, will say anything, and loves the rockstar attention the liberal media gives him. Funny thing is he has a minimal lead in the polls despite McCain having to separate himself from Bush and Obama having unlimited funds. Obama is underachieving and McCain is feeding off of the people who are beginning to wake up and realize Obama has no substance.

Rightisalwaysbetter, would you like to know something about corruption? Do some research on Cheney and his ties to key contractors over in Iraq. Ted Stevens, Republican Senator out of Alaska just got indicted on corruption charges. I know you think your party is perfect, but that represents the problem with American politics. To many people are so blind to issues of the opposite side. I'm sure when you go to vote you could care less who the person is, and only pay attention to the R or the D. I hope you get on this blog to learn something about other people's opinions, not just to bash them. Open yourself up rightisalwaysbetter, and you might be suprised.
